WELCOME

Hi! Howdy! aloha!

I’m so glad you could make it to see into this small window of my life! My name’s Hannah Colburn. I’m a 24 year old filmmaker, editor and photographer based in Los Angeles, California.

Growing up, I was always inspired by movies like The Goonies, Jurassic Park, and Indiana Jones. These films got me interested in picking up a camera and making my own creative videos with my friends.

I spent my time growing up living between Colorado, California, and Hawaii. Over the course of about 6 years, I would accompany my sister in Oahu, Hawaii during my time off from school. In my time spent living there, I picked up a love for photography around the island. I always say I wouldn’t be where I am today without being immersed in the aloha spirit, culture, and beauty of the Hawaiian islands.

After graduating high school, I briefly spent time in Nashville, Tennessee working as a legal deposition videographer and wedding videographer. I was also able to get involved in post production as a video editor for Moglea, a company who specializes in handmade artful home goods. I then slowly transitioned into assisting with shoots for TV shows and feature films. It was from then on that I knew working in film was what I was meant to do. After that, I decided to pack my bags, and move to Hollywood.

Some of my experience ranges from working on one of Bruce Willis’ last movies, wRONG plACE, to assisting on productions such as NBCUniversal’S aMERICA’S gOT tALENT, and Warnerbros Discovery’s The Jennifer Hudson show.

I’ve MOST RECENTLY directed MY FIRST OFFICIAL NARRATIVE SHORT FILM, Lacuna which was screened at the Beverly Hills film festival.

I now happily reside in the heart of Hollywood, in Burbank, California working in TV and film.

I am always working on new projects, and looking for my next big adventure. this is the place to keep up with all of me!

Welcome to the show!

LIGHTS, cONTACT, ACTION!
